ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

To work with the customer to develop and process metal that meets the conditions for a long-term sustainable society. This means to reduce our dependence on substances from the earth's crust and avoid waste and the use of disposable materials. This applies to both energy consumption (using energy-efficient and modern production technology) and scrap. We can also reduce our CO2 consumption by planning assignments and deliveries to our customers by utilizing the load-bearing capacity of the containers that are shipped to Scandinavia. This reduces our transport. 

We are also working to phase out long-lived and unnatural substances. To prevent the spread of such substances, we are actively working to reduce the consumption of products with environmentally hazardous properties in our production. We are also working to map and dispose of residual products and waste from our production.

Our factories work on energy and material efficiency in our assignments. We comply with laws and industry agreements. We work to further develop our environmental work. Environmental work is part of our quality work that aims to increase customer benefit through continuous improvements.
